Dr. Brittany Moran received a Bachelor of Human Kinetics honours movement science degree from the University of Windsor. While attending U of W, she was a four-year member of the national championship Lancer cross country and track teams. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, Dr. Moran was accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Moran has a true passion for running. She continues to be involved in running and competes at a sub elite level, in a variety of road races across North America. She has completed seven full marathons – all of them in under three hours, with a personal best of 2:40:46. Dr. Moran has experience coaching running at many different levels. Currently she is one of two coaches for Nike+ Run Club Toronto.
Dr. Moran has taken full body Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique. She is also trained in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This allows her to use many different techniques to treat the entire musculoskeletal system. Dr. Moran uses a functional approach in the assessment looking for weaknesses and imbalances that need to be addressed in order to fix the issue. She thinks that physical activity and retraining the musculoskeletal system is a huge part of getting people better.
