Learn to Run: A 10 Week Program for Beginner Runners
Are you new to running?
Ready to take on your first 5K?
Maybe you’re already running and are looking for some guidance to help you become a stronger, fast, more confident runner?
This 10 Week Learn to Run Program is designed to help you tackle your running goals!
- 10 Week Program for Beginner Runners
- 60-75min sessions which include a variety of topics:
- Proper warm up
- Strength training
- Proper technique
- Mobility & stretching
- Nutrition for Runners
- Personalized plans & support
Meet at The Runner’s Academy. The running portion of this program will take place in the surrounding neighbourhoods with our instructor.
Mondays & Wednesdays at 7:00PM
*Note NO CLASS on MON FEB 17th (Family Day).

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR: Shea Kinney
Shea is studying Kinesiology at U of T & previously completed a placement at The Runner’s Academy to further her knowledge of strength training, treatment and techniques for gait analysis.
Shea’s passion for long distance running has grown stronger over the last 8 years; where she has completed a marathon and 4 half-marathons.
