Meet Lindsay Scott.
Registered Physiotherapist and Acupuncture Provider (MClSc, MScPT, FCAMPT)
Physiotherapist | Coach | Runner | Triathlete | Educator
Movement is at the core of who I am. It will never stop exciting me that my work allows me to connect with and support those who share what I love most about running: community, fresh air, mindfulness, joy and the occasional heartbreak.
I grew up playing different team sports and began running as a means of connecting with my community after moving to Nepal to conduct research. Upon returning to Toronto, I quickly learned that it was often faster to run than to take the TTC, and my identity as a runner was secured.
I am endlessly curious about the intricacies of the human body and running science, and love to find ways to break down seemingly complex information into meaningful terms. It is my goal that runners leave each session feeling more knowledgeable about their bodies and excited about what’s possible for them.
Having had a run focused practice for ten years, I’m now thrilled to be able to support other clinicians and coaches driven to excel in working with runners, and can often be found creating and leading courses and workshops.
Outside of the clinic, I’m usually seeking movement and exploration, whether it be training for my next marathon or triathlon, hiking with my two young boys in tow, or jumping at any opportunity to camp or ski.
