We are a sports rehab and performance practice obsessed with the science of running. From our locations in Toronto and Hamilton to our virtual services worldwide, we are a true one-stop-shop designed to keep you healthy, performing your best and finding joy on the run.
By putting multiple clinicians and coaches under one roof, we can seamlessly transition you from injury rehab to performance training without you ever having to re-explain your history.

Overcome Pain and Injury
If you’re currently sidelined or navigating a "niggle," your journey usually starts with a clinical assessment with one of our run-focused clinicians. We’ll do a full assessment to tease out key factors driving your pain, and work with you to create an action plan that makes sense for you and your goals.
Common starting points: Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, or Osteopathy.
Common patterns that we treat: Runner’s Knee (PFPS), IT Band Syndrome, Piriformis Syndrome, Bursitis, Hip Labral injuries, low back pain,Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendinopathy, Neuromas, Shin Splints, and more.
Level Up Performance & Build Resilience
If you’re healthy and ready to move faster or keen to keep running well for the long haul, we have a whole team of experts geared up to work with you to build strategies towards becoming a smarter, stronger, and more efficient and resilient runner.
Common starting points: Running Gait Analysis (under Physio or Chiro), Strength & Conditioning, or Run Coaching.
Common goals that we work towards: Optimizing running gait for efficiency and injury prevention, strength programming (small group, 1-on-1 training, building personalized programs), training plan creation and review, mobility and recovery strategies.

The Runner’s Academy was built to be more than just a clinic.
We are a multidisciplinary hub where industry-leading science meets a genuine love for the run.
We’re done with hearing “just stop running”.
For real, that one fires us up like no other.
Here is the truth: resting injured tissue makes you feel better short-term, but in many cases it simply avoids the problem rather than understanding it and building solutions. That just makes a return to running even harder.
Our approach is built on a simple rule: Running injuries are a matching game between load and tissue capacity.
By diving deep into run-specific biomechanics, training principles and other factors driving the capacity of a given tissue that general clinics miss, we identify the exact "heavy hitter" factors that are putting more ask on a tissue than it currently has the capacity to tolerate.
From there, we evaluate whether it’s best to temporarily offload completely while we build your tolerance back up in other ways, or if we can modify your running routine rather than shutting it down entirely.
