Hamilton running physio chiro
chiropractor | Coach | Runner |

Growing up in Sudbury, I began running in high school and fell in love with the sport. As I continued to pursue running while at Laurentian University, I had the opportunity to compete at provincial and national levels and completed a thesis exploring the biomechanical variations between long-distance and middle-distance runners at varying speeds.

With a growing interest in running mechanics, I took on coaching roles, initially focusing on elementary and high school athletes. Today, I use gait assessment as a crucial tool in my practice to identify factors contributing to injuries, performance and overall experience on the run.

Since graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, I have used soft tissue therapy, joint manipulation, acupuncture, and more to help runners and athletes recover from injuries and return to activities they love. I find joy in helping others discover or re-discover the same love for running and movement that I have. Whether it’s recovering from an injury or preparing for a first race, I work with individuals of all ages and abilities to advance their training at the right pace.

As a self-proclaimed “shoe nerd,” I have extensive experience with running footwear from my research background and seven years working with Running Room. Whether you’re curious about performance or preventing injury, I’m always game to chat about shoes.

Outside the clinic, I train for races ranging from 5k to the half marathon. I’m also frequently found on the Burlington and Hamilton waterfronts, running with others who share the same passion.
