Meet Marlon Cuizon.

Resident Physiotherapist (BScPT)

Physiotherapy Resident | Runner | Educator

Running has become my sacred space for healing, growth, and transformation. I wasn’t always a runner, but after completing a mentorship in lower limb biomechanics and rehab, I laced up my first pair of running shoes and haven’t looked back. Running has taught me that the human body is designed to adapt, endure, and thrive, revealing a strength within me I never knew existed.

Today, I’m proud to be part of BlackToe Running, a community that embodies resilience and passion for the sport. Training with teammates who share their wisdom and experience has humbled me as a runner and a physio and deepened my hunger for growth.

The 4000+ kilometres I’ve logged (according to Strava) represent more than just miles; they reflect the connections, growth, and memories shared with kindred spirits—many of whom have become lifelong friends.

As a resident physiotherapist, I’m committed to integrating the latest evidence-based research to create personalized, person-centred care. Whether you’re training for your first race or looking to reach a new personal best, I’ll be your guide—your "pacer"—helping you achieve your goals and cross the finish line.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me running, strength training, learning new languages, or teaching French to kids in Leslieville. Running has brought purpose and joy to my life, and I can’t wait to share that with you.
